Samson's Vortex is the lightest premium climbing line available in this 1/2" size. It has a 24 strand cover like velocity, but it's larger diameter offers a better grip. Vortex works well with hardware, handles knots, and is great for footlocking. The Vortex is part of the Samson V-Series Premium Climbing Line series.
